Terms of Use

Last updated: August 6, 2026 · Version 2026-08-06

These terms are the agreement between you and Watch Comps. They apply the moment you create an account, sign in, or use the app in any way. If you do not agree to them, do not use Watch Comps.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Watch Comps, you accept these terms in full and you agree to be bound by them.

We record when you accept and which version you accepted. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you can keep using the app.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Watch Comps is a tool for professional watch dealers and is not intended for consumers.

2. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password secret and your contact details accurate.

One account per person or business. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account, and do not create a new account to get around a termination.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users on Watch Comps. This is not a guideline and it is not graded on a curve. Content that breaks this rule is removed, and the account behind it is ejected from the service.

Objectionable content includes, and is not limited to: harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any person; hate speech or content that attacks or demeans a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status; sexually explicit material; content that promotes or glorifies violence, self harm, or illegal activity; counterfeit, replica, stolen, or otherwise unlawfully obtained goods; fraud, misrepresentation of a watch or its condition, papers, or provenance; deliberately false pricing intended to mislead; impersonation of another dealer or business; spam, scraping, or bulk unsolicited messaging; personal data about anyone posted without their consent; and anything that is unlawful where you or the recipient are located.

An abusive user is anyone who posts objectionable content, harasses or threatens another user through the app, defrauds or attempts to defraud another user, or repeatedly ignores these terms.

When we determine that content is objectionable, we remove it. When we determine that a user is abusive, we terminate that account and eject the user from Watch Comps. Ejection is permanent, it applies to any other account we can attribute to the same person or business, and it carries no refund of any unused subscription time. We do this at our sole discretion and we do not owe a warning first.

4. Reporting, blocking, and what we do within 24 hours

Every listing in Watch Comps carries a Report control and a Block control, on the feed card, on the listing itself, and on the seller page. Use them.

We review every report and act on it within 24 hours of receiving it. Acting means removing the objectionable content, and, where the report shows the user behind it is abusive, ejecting that user by terminating their account as described above. Where a report is about conduct rather than a single listing, we investigate the account and take the same action against it.

Blocking is immediate and does not wait on our review. A seller you block disappears from your feed at once, their listings stop reaching you, and they can no longer contact you through the app. You can see and undo your blocks at any time on the Blocked screen in your account settings.

You can also report content, a user, or anything else that concerns you by emailing support@watchcomp.ai. The same 24 hour commitment applies.

Do not use reporting to harass a competitor. Knowingly false reports are themselves a breach of these terms.

5. Content in the app

Watch Comps shows listings and messages that come from you and from other users, including material brought in from sources you choose to connect. You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the licence we need to store it, display it to the users you intend it for, and operate the service.

You are responsible for what you post, for having the right to post it, and for its accuracy. We do not pre-screen everything users post and we do not guarantee that any listing, price, or claim about a watch is accurate or that any user is who they say they are. Do your own diligence before you trade.

Watch Comps is a place to find and discuss inventory. Any deal you strike is between you and the other party. We are not a party to it, we do not hold funds or goods, and we do not guarantee that anyone will perform.

6. Things you must not do

Post objectionable content, or behave as an abusive user, as section 3 describes those.

Break the law, infringe anyone else’s rights, or trade in counterfeit or stolen goods.

Interfere with the app: no scraping, automated access, reverse engineering, probing, overloading, or attempting to reach data or accounts that are not yours.

Use the app to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to build a competing dataset.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Where a purchase is made through Apple, Apple’s own billing terms and refund process apply.

An account terminated for breaching these terms is not refunded.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Watch Comps at any time, and you can delete your account from within the app under Account, then Delete account.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, and we will do so where section 3 applies.

9. Disclaimers and limits

Watch Comps is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the information in it is complete or correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for any loss arising out of a transaction between you and another user. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version and the date at the top, and we ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. Continuing to use Watch Comps after that means you accept the change.

11. Contact
